Steps to be taken in order to be able to do the Modern Language Course

  1. Level test:

In order to carry out the course the student must undergo a level test in the chosen language (English, French, Italian or German). To do so they must enter the following link https://gestion3.urjc.es/imoderno/jsp/alumno/login.jsp with their URJC username and password.

REMEMBER: You can only do the level test once and for just one language. Be sure to enter the platform from a computer and not a tablet or mobile phone. Once you start the level test, you will not be able to stop it or change the language and you will have a fixed amount of time in which to finish it.

Once you have finished the test, click on the “FINALIZAR LA PRUEBA” link so that the test is validated and your result is saved.

  1. Signing up to a group: Once the level test has been completed, a page where THE STUDENT CAN CHOOSE CAMPUS AND SCHEDULE will appear.

  1. Check that you have been correctly enrolled into the group and schedule you selected on the MODERN LANGUAGES APPLICATION: https://gestion3.urjc.es/imoderno/jsp/alumno/login.jsp
  2. Course requirements: Students must obtain an “APTO” (admitted) before being allowed to sit the final exam. In order to do so students must: have 80% attendance to class as well as passing various tests that the lecturer will set in class during the course. If the ATPO is not attained the course is automatically failed.
  3. Final Exam: Students will sit one of the official exams set for each language (TOEIC, TFI, ZD, CILS) and their score on this exam alone will determine their grade for the Modern Languages Course.

Erasmus students should check that they are able to attend their final exam on the dates set out by the Modern Languages Department and bear in mind that they do not coincide with the official exam dates established by the university. Those students who take on French and English courses MUST sit the first exam available for their course.
